children program
I was born 1976 in Valencia/Spain and grew up in Freiburg/Germany.
With six years I started dancing in a balletschool which was teaching
the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dancing, Ballettschule Karin
Wagner. Already in my first balletclass I knew that this will be my life.
So when I was nineteen I continued my dance education in the
Netherlands in De Hogeschool voor de Kunsten-Arnhem, faculty
performing Arts where I graduated in 2000.
I speak fluently german, english, spanish and dutch
Currently working with Rolana Saadi for the production “7 Faces” which will be performed in
November 2010 in Amsterdam.
From 2002 until 2008 I was founder and member from a dancecompany
(Stichting Dimovi, http://www.dimovi.nl) where I started to create my own work in
collaboration with other artists.
Besides dancing I work also as a teacher for classical ballet, modern
dance and improvisation/composition, mostly for children and
youngsters.
When I am teaching and I can see my students giving over to the dance,
that is the moment when I am enjoying the most. The joy of dance is a
beautiful thing and it is worth to be shared.
Also teaching workshops in Germany, Austria and Belgium.
